In 2003, the Government of Canada introduced policies on the mandatory publication on departmental websites of information about travel and hospitality expenses for selected government officials; contracts entered into by the Government of Canada for amounts over $10,000 (with only limited exceptions such as for those relating to national security); the reclassification of positions; and the award of grants and contributions over $25,000.

The information on this website will be updated on a quarterly basis. It is available as of February 6, 2006, the date that the former Office of the Registrar of Lobbyists became a separate department for the purposes of the Financial Administration Act.

Disclosure of Grants and Contribution Awards over $25,000

As advertising expenditures incurred by the Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying of Canada are not reported in the Government of Canada Annual Report on Advertising Activities because of the status and independance of the Commissioner of Lobbying as an Agent of Parliament, they are proactively disclosed on this web site on a voluntary basis to ensure transparency.
